Tae Kwon Do is by far the most advanced form of hand and foot martial arts, sometimes called Korean Karate. It is a superior form of self-defense. It is now a world wide sport. This was demonstrated in the 1988 Olympics and Tae Kwon Do added to its credibility by being the first and only, hand and foot sport in the Olympics. Tae Kwon Do emphasizes strengthening and conditioning of yourself–discipline, concentration, coordination and flexibility. Through regular TKD training, you will become stronger not only physically but mentally and spiritually also. We all have weak areas that we need to work on. As you train in TKD you begin to incorporate all the tenets of TKD into your everyday life which is the most important benefit of TKD, so that each of the tenets become stronger & obvious in our daily lives.
